New Office Hours Hale's new office hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. All students should be picked up from school as soon as school is out. If students need to stay later then they must either be signed up with the Boys and Girls Club on campus or wait out in the PE field for their ride. These are the only areas where there will be adult supervision. Students are not permitted to hang out in front of school once school is out. We want to ensure everyone's safety. |

API Score Hale's 2011 API score increased 17 points to a total of 838! We are very proud of the accomplishments of our students and staff. Let's keep up the good work and continue to excel! |

Update on Dress Code Policy There has been ongoing dress code violations by students on campus. The biggest violation includes girls wearing low cut tops and SHORT shorts! The boys may not wear saggy over sized pants! If a student is in violation of the dress code, he or she will be asked to put on their PE clothes for the day. Dress code violations will be recorded in the computer in the student's file. Repeat violators will be subject to consequences which could lead to suspension. We would appreciate everyone's cooperation as we enforce the dress code policy. |

Membership Drives PTSA is promoting a pledge membership drive asking each family to donate $250. The Instrumental Music Booster group is also collecting membership. Please offer a donation to help Hale survive the ongoing budget cuts. Thank you! |

Tuesday Dismissal Every Tuesday students will be dismissed at 1:29 PM. Traveling students from LA will stay on campus until 3:00 PM on some Tuesdays. Youth Services (PE Field) will be open after school everyday for any students who need a place to stay while waiting for pick up. |

Update on Attendance Office Policies If you need to pick up your child before the school day ends, please be prepared to show a picture ID when asked by Hale staff. This is to ensure student's safety. Also, drop offs of personal student items (i.e., PE clothes, homework, lunch, etc.) will no longer be delivered to the student. Please be sure your child has everything he/she needs for the day. If your child is absent from school, please be sure he/she returns to school with a note for the absence. Your cooperation is appreciated! |
