Special Day Program

Special Day Programs: Our Special Day Programs for students with learning disabilities is a departmentalized program that serves students who read two or more years below grade level. Most of these students score Below Basic or Far Below Basic on the CST. These students receive the support of a lower pupil teacher ratio and a curriculum that moves at a slower pace. There are three programs. They are the Special Day Program for Students with Learning Disabilities, Special Day Program for Students with Emotional Disturbance and Special Day Program for Students with Autism. All students in the Special Day Program have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) that includes accommodations to meet their needs. |
