Welcome to Hale Middle School and the 2008-09 school year. As Principal, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our web site. We are proud of our students, teachers, educational programs, and facilities. We have a very supportive school community, an outstanding staff, and great students. Our teachers and staff, along with students and parents, have a common goal of providing what is best for our students. I'm proud to be part of such a positive organization.
We have consistently posted some of the highest test scores the District. Our aim is to achieve the highest student achievement within the atmosphere of a safe, healthy and inviting learning environment. We do this by addressing the intellectual, social, physical and emotional needs of a child in a rigorous, challenging academic program. By taking full advantage of the middle school years, all students will have the chance to grow academically, physically and emotionally. Our goal is to prepare our students for the educational, social and technological changes present in our society. At the same time, we strive to develop new insights and new perceptions for our students that will enable them to meet the challenges of the present century.
Middle school is a time of change. Regular attendance is an important component of school success. At Hale Middle School the students are a very important part of our school's tradition. The staff wants all students to continue this tradition of excellence by being totally involved, participating in clubs and activities, and by following basic guiding principles of honesty, respect, responsibility and trustworthiness. Our website is a work in progress. We believe that it will be one of many strong communication links between our school and the community. As always, we appreciate and encourage any suggestions for improvement.
